Meet Anthony Theile, DO, FAAP
from Central Ohio Newborn Medicine

Dr. Anthony R. Theile started with Central Ohio Newborn Medicine in 2011. Dr. Theile places a strong emphasis on and takes pride in communicating daily with families to ensure they know exactly what is going on with their baby and never feel intimidated or confused by the experience.

Dr. Theile is dedicated to making a connection with parents, whether it’s through drawing diagrams or taking extra time to explain medical terms.

Dr. Theile believes that “the babies are truly the boss,” which challenges him to develop a new game plan daily. With a more minimalistic patient care approach, he strives to only order tests that will actually change his management.

During his residency, he was honored with the Leonard Tow Humanism and Excellence in Teaching award for going out of his way to take time to help medical students.

Originally from the Indianapolis area, Dr. Theile completed his residency and fellowship in Louisville, and is happy to be settled within easy driving distance to family.

When he isn’t practicing, Dr. Theile likes to spend time with his family and enjoys traveling abroad. He and his wife, Christina, reside in Bexley with their four daughters.
